Our CIDESCO Certified Medical Esthetician, Elena, will take pride in helping you find the proper skin care regimen and will provide you with ongoing care to help you achieve your best result.

Elena has been associated with Dr. Hauge (Board Certified Plastic Surgeon) since 2002. Elena holds two Associate of Applied Science Degrees in Surgical Technology and in Medical Assisting. She is Dr. Hauge's RMA/Registered Surgical Technologist and assists him in our office. Elena has been in the medical/surgical field for over 10 years. She is also a Licensed Esthetician Certified in Medical Esthetics. Credentialing is very important to Elena in providing patients with the best quality skin care. Elena holds the highest international credential available in skin and body therapy from the Comite International D'Esthetique Et Cosmetologie. Founded in 1946 (it's head office in Zurich, Switzerland), CIDESCO is represented in over 33 countries. The CIDESCO diploma is the world's most prestigious qualification in the field of aesthetics and beauty therapy. CIDESCO qualification has set the standards that have been initiated over the five continents of the globe, and is considered the gold standard in skin and body therapy. Elena believes that it is important to treat the body both internally as well as externally. Elena offers a great line of medical nutracueticals and a wide range of medical skin care procedures and medical skin care products to maintain results. Elena is also certified in Laser Hair Removal and also one of the first to bring Laser Hair Removal to Yakima. She is also a Graduate of the elite Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts, in California, undergoing a very intense master makeup artist training program and receiving her Diploma in Master Makeup for Motion Pictures and Television. She is certified in airbrush makeup, and specializes in all aspects of makeup artistry. From beauty to special effects, and specialized camouflage techniques. She is also very passionate about creating beautiful faces for weddings and custom blending cosmetics. Elena has over 10 years of experience as a lisenced professional Esthetician in the beauty industry and will continue to dedicate herself to the field of plastic surgical skin care. She will also continue to raise the standards for medical esthetics. She holds many other advanced training certificates in chemical peeling, laser physics, and medical skin care applications. She loves and feels passionate about taking care of people and enhancing their natural beauty. Elena is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialist and is also one of only ten on the board of directors. She has served a one year term as Parlimentarian, Member-At-Large, Secretary, and is now honored to serve a year position as the current Vice President for 2012-2013. She is an NCEA member, and a member of the Medical Technologist Association. Elena is also a Master Educator of Esthetics. She has presented "Airbrush Makeup Techniques", at the national SPSSCS meeting in Washington D.C., and "Eyebrows Frame The Face", in Vancouver, Canada. She also has contributed several articles in the SPSSCS Newletter, and has recently contributed "Summer Makeup Trends", for "The Beauty Buzz". She continues to volunteer her makeup artistry skills as part of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialist Creative Cosmetics Team at the World Burn Congress. Elena has a huge passion for finding solutions by using a variety of cosmetics for camouflaging facial differences and has created The Make-Up Boutique a full service studio that specializes in all aspects of makeup artistry and unique fashion trends to keep you looking beautiful. She also provides mobile makeup artistry services.

Alicia Barrera has been part of Cascade Esthetics for 8 years and also holds two Associate of Applied Science Degrees in Surgical Technology and in Medical Assisting. She has an extensive background in Dermatology as a Licensed Clinical Esthetician and Certified Permanent Makeup Technician for over 7 years. She also has a unique Certificaton in Pain Control Management through the American Academy of Micropigmentation. She is very passionate about Pretty-N-Ink and about providing our patients permanant cosmetic services with a medical approach, and always practices with the highest sterile techniques, always using the highest quality standards for all of our patients in a medical environment. She has an artistic eye for color and a very steady hand. Alicia also specializes in Eyelash Extensions and was one of the first eyelash extension specialists in Washington. Alicia holds advanced medical micropigmentation certificates and is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialist, Society of Dermatology Skin Care Specialist, Society of Permanant Cosmetic Professionals, and The American Academy of Micropigmentation. She also holds the prestigious NCEA certification. Alicia offers complimentary consultaitons and is available every Friday.
