• What is the first step in planning my surgery?
  
  You may call our office and set up a consultation with Dr. Hauge. He will discuss your goals and walk you through the different steps of the procedure.

• What type of implants do you use?
  
  Inamed Implants are what Dr. Hauge has chosen. You may get more information at www.inamed.com.

• Does your office do laser hair removal?
  
  Yes, we offer the latest and best technology in laser hair removal. We use a long pulsed diode laser.

• Where is the incision site for breast implants?
  
  Although there are several incision areas, Dr. Hauge prefers to make his incisions underneath the breast. This allows the incision to be hidden and lessens the recovery time. However, alternative areas can be discussed during your consultation.

• What type of payment plan do you have?
  
  We except all major credit cards, cash or personal check. We also are contracted with two credit services that allow you to make payments on your procedure. Please call our office for more details.

• Do you take before and after photos?
  
  We take before pictures at the time of your consultation if you decide to schedule your surgery in the near future. Post Operative photos are taken at the appropriate time, usually within the next few months and are kept discretely in your chart.

• Do I stay over night or is my procedure outpatient?
  
  Usually our cosmetic procedures are strictly outpatient. In our Yakima office, we perform surgeries such as breast reductions and reconstructions, which may require an overnight stay.

• Do you do lip injections?
  
  Yes. Dr. Hauge uses a product called Restylane. Results last six months or more. Please feel free to access the Restylane website for information. www.restylaneusa.com

• Can I have laser hair removal in a salon?
  
  No. According to Washington State law, laser hair removal must be performed in a medical/clinic setting, under the supervision of a physician.

• How much down time is there for breast augmentation?
  
  Of course every patient is different, but the general rule of thumb is about 7-10 days. Post operative instructions will be given to you at your Pre-Op appointment and immediately after your procedure. You will have to limit your activity for about 4-6 weeks.

• How do you determine the size of breasts you want?
  
  After you meet with Dr. Hauge, together you both will decide what size of implant works best for your body frame. The amount of breast tissue you currently have will play a large part in that decision, as well as your height and weight.

• Where is the surgery performed?
  
  We have a certified outpatient medical facility in each of the three towns we service. All three facilities are staffed with a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and the best support staff available.

• Can any person perform my laser treatment?
  
  Under the supervision of a physician, an esthetician can operate a laser for laser hair removal. Our licenced medical esthetician has been trained and certified to use a laser.

• Will my implants look natural?
  
  Dr. Hauge believes cosmetic surgery is to improve the beauty one is born with. So, his procedures are performed with that in mind. Your outcome will be discussed during your consultation and again right before surgery.

  Our office spcializes in plastic surgical skincare and all aspects of makeup artistry. It is not only important to heal your skin, but we can make the healing process smoother with specified cosmetics that heal while you conceal.
